  17.      _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s is an interface to the on-line release notes.  It displays the
  18.      release notes by product and chapter using the _m_a_n(1) command.  It can
  19.      also show which products' release notes are installed and the title of
  20.      each chapter installed.

  22.      With no arguments, _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s shows which products have release notes
  23.      installed.

  27.      _p_r_o_d_u_c_t             shows the chapters that are installed for the named
  28.                          product.  If no table of contents file can be found,
  29.                          _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s shows you a list of chapter numbers.

  31.      _p_r_o_d_u_c_t _c_h_a_p_t_e_r ... displays the specified chapter(s) from the named
  32.                          product's release notes.  If _c_h_a_p_t_e_r is '*' (quoted
  33.                          asterisk), then all chapters are displayed one after
  34.                          the other.  The display is done via the _m_a_n(1)
  35.                          command.

  37.      ----tttt _p_r_o_d_u_c_t _c_h_a_p_t_e_r ...
  38.                          prints the specified chapter(s) from the named
  39.                          product's release notes.  The resulting hardcopy
  40.                          won't be as nicely formatted as the hardcopy of the
  41.                          release notes that you received with the product
  42.                          tape, but will usually be sufficiently legible.

  45.      1.   The product and chapter can now be specified without using the ----pppp
  46.           and ----cccc options, so they are no longer supported.
  47.  
  48.      2.   By default _r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s looks in the directory /_u_s_r/_r_e_l_n_o_t_e_s for release
  49.           notes. The environment variable RRRREEEELLLLNNNNOOOOTTTTEEEESSSSPPPPAAAATTTTHHHH allows a different
  50.           release notes directory to be specified.
